We do not have heated facilities, we are on a lakefront property so we provide wind breaks for the runs so that our birds are not exposed to the cold wind off of the lake, this is especially important for our Marans and Silverudd's who sport large single combs. We find that frost bite happens less often if the boys are not out in the cold winter wind.
